My aim as an artist (& photographer) is to 'Capture the Beauty'. Quote: "whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." We should concentrate on beauty - there is too much ugliness in the world today - but there is so much beauty too, and what is more beautiful than the human body? I am an artist living mainly in Spain where I run a weekly life drawing workshops for which I am always looking for models. I can provide free accommodation etc. (for female models only) and pay all models working for me the going UK rate - about twice the Spanish rate! BUT I don't pay the airfares. I am also an ex-model agent/photographer, and now run an international register of artists' models - BOHEMIA - which provides a free service for models and artists. As an artist, I like use most media from soft pastels - which give me the feeling of sculpting the model when I paint with them - to oils on canvas using colour as my servant not my dictator. Pastels pictures here include "Rosie", "Lyra", "Acostado", "Sapphire too", "Pebela Blu" & "Cheryl Gold". "Glassy Lady" is a digital pic, "CheryLine" is marker pen on paper, "Esconder" is graphite pencil & "MichaelPhelps" is in watercolours. The rest are oil on canvas - The 4 elements (Waterdancer, Earthdancer, Firedancer & Airdancer) are 100cm x 30 cm,. All the rest are 40cm x 40cm except "Mediterranean Musings" which is 122cm x 61cm
