RART are an environmentally and socially aware collective of emerging and established artists, writers and designers based locally in east London and beyond. We share an aim to push new progressive sustainable Artistic inventions and empower people through the medium of Art. Across education, mentoring, work placements, exhibitions, open forums and events we are aiming to creatively and professionally empower people in the community at all stages of their lives and artistic careers. We are currently holding exhibitions, open forums, Art Rants and happenings to construct a rolling manifesto. R-art is the educational programme within RART that facilitates a variety of interactive cross curricular art workshops. We tailor make each individual workshop for its participants, for people from 5 years to old age. These sessions, along with all our facets, encourage new thinking, aid confidence and give artistic people skills that will make them more employable within their chosen field. All this is achieved while exploring theoretical and practical artistic concerns that promote exciting sustainable making and celebrate good art. we conduct Thursday weekly life drawing sessions and are always looking for new models. please do not hesitate to contact us.
